Fascinating adventures of crystals.
The studio of the Czech ceramic designer Milan Pekař, based in Prague, is known for the creation of a unique crystalline glaze, which is the result of Pekař's experiments with various temperatures, oxides and application techniques. The glaze was applied to a collection of porcelain vases, which gained international recognition and were nominated for the Czech Grand Design Award. It is also part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Applied Arts in Dresden.
