Print RECEPTIVE SYRINGA white | JEAN-CLAUDE ETEGNOT
Print RECEPTIVE SYRINGA white | JEAN-CLAUDE ETEGNOT
Series of four large format prints on Fine Art museum paper made of 100% cotton. The prints are hand painted with acrylic paint. Each piece is original. The print is signed by the author and provided with a series number. The high quality of the print and natural paper guarantees a beautiful rendering of the colors and details of the photo. Due to the sensitivity of the material, we recommend framing the print.
It is a balmy evening in late spring, and the air carries a sweet floral fragrance, so intoxicating that it transports one's mind to the same airy landscapes to which, for example, a fermented drink from the vine transports it. The material world around us, which we know so well and which provides us with a kind of external support, spins for a while and our mind is free for a while, and we prolong that fleeting moment by inhaling the intoxicating aroma again. The great poet Charles Baudelaire was able to look into the great depths of knowledge and clearly said: »Il faut etre toujours ivre« - "One must always be drunk". What? With wine, poetry, virtue... or looking at the flowers of the plant whose fragrance is the strongest in the early evening when it is getting dark.
