Time. We feel the time only when we are really being pushed. Deadlines, tasks that we can't complete on time, or, conversely, waiting minutes flowing too slowly. The rhythm of the working day has become a story for us, which we cannot enjoy due to all our responsibilities. But is it not an expression of time in its purest form, in perfect accuracy and order? The sequence of hours and days is fragile and at the same time uncompromisingly firm. It flows linearly from beginning to end, spins in regular cycles and is constantly in motion.
The author of the collection, Klára Šípková, tried to stop in time for a while and to analyze, describe, divide and materialize this physical quantity for herself. She was helped by the minimalist, timeless morphology of stainless steel and black rubber. A jewelry collection called simply TIME was created. Earrings, brooches and necklaces represent individual time periods (second, minute, hour, day, week, month and year), which are seemingly universal and equally given to everyone, yet it only depends on us what experiences we will fulfill these episodes. Klára put a piece of her time into her jewelry, and every minute spent like this made her happy.
