KNIHY

How can the history of Czech and Slovak photography and its current form be best described? Guide to Troubled Territories III builds on successful previous books devoted to modern Czech fine art and architecture.

The creators focus on the field of photography, the fates of their authors and the stories that accompany them. Their intention is to create a publication mapping the development of photography in our territory in an understandable and attractive form from the first half of the 19th century to the present day. The core of the book is a selection of more than sixty of the most important authors, representing their work and lives.

František Drtikol, Jaromír Funke, Josef Sudek, Jan Lukas, Dagmar Hochová, Josef Koudelka, Jan Saudek, Jindřich Štreit, Libuše Jarcovjáková, Karel Cudlín, Antonín Kratochvíl, Tono Stano, Ivan Pinkava, Miroslav Tichý and others.
