BACHMANNOVÁ RENATA

Renata Bachmannová is dedicated to designing handmade jewellery. She graduated from the Studio of Fashion and Textile Design at the Faculty of Art and Design at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. After completing an internship abroad in a jewellery workshop at the University of Finland in Kouvola, she became very interested in jewellery design and craft. Since 2015 she has been living and working in Prague. She creates jewellery as if they were for her. It is important for Renata to surround herself with strong story elements. She presents jewellery as talismans, energy traps and memories. They can be a link in our perception with place, time and man. Renata often works with the lost wax technique and therefore she has many options how intuitively shape the wax. The result of her work is jewellery referring to the world of nature and organic structures.
