As the author says herself, the crafts, technology and materials with their nearly never-ending potential are fascinating. Eva Růžičková is absolvent of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design, the K.O.V. studio leaded by Eva Eisler. She built her skills also at the German University of Art and Design at Burg Giebichenstein in Halle during her study exchange at a jewelry studio leaded by Daniel Krug. In 2016 she took part in the prestigious Talente Show in Munich selection. Moreover, the author introduced herself at exhibitions in Milan, New York, Berlin and London. Eva often seeks ways to experiment with material and the shape of jewels. In her creations we encounter quality, pleasant and vivid materials such as wood, cork, slate, pearls and many others. Jewelry itself has a strong character in detailed ways; hey give the impression that they are an intimate object, a reflection of identity such as birth, growth, balance, emotion.
For Eva Růžičková’s jewelery is typical experimenting with materials, shape variations, and a sense of detailed precision processing. All her collections impersonate important principles such as birth, growth, balance, body, and emotion. They are a highly personal expression that is supposed to be in accordance with the body and the emotions of the wearer.
